Privacy Policy

How we handle personal information when you use our website, contact us, apply for training or apply for a role.

Daybytes Tech Solutions is a technology and training business based in Lagos, Nigeria. We collect personal information when visitors contact us, enquire about services, apply for training, or apply for jobs.

What we collect

  • Contact details such as name, email, phone number and message content.
  • Booking information submitted through Calendly.
  • Career application details, including CV uploads or links.
  • Technical information such as IP address and request details when needed to operate and protect the website and forms.

Why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide requested services, arrange consultations, manage training applications, assess job applications, operate the website, and protect our forms from abuse.

Lawful basis

We rely on consent, contract performance, legitimate business interests, and legal requirements where applicable. We will not process data beyond what is necessary for the stated purpose.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, network security, form security checks and related technical operations.
  • Brevo: delivery of form notifications and email replies, including CV attachments when submitted with a job application.
  • Calendly: scheduling consultations when you choose to use the booking service.

The deployed pages attempt to request the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com, but the site's Content Security Policy blocks that request, so the beacon does not load. We do not currently use a separate CRM, external file-storage, or advertising-pixel service on this website. We may disclose information when required by law or a competent authority.

International transfers

Cloudflare, Brevo, and Calendly may process information in countries outside Nigeria. When you use the website, submit a form, or book a consultation, information needed for that service may be processed by the relevant provider under its own privacy terms and retention practices.

Retention

Daybytes' routine retention period for enquiries, job applications and CVs, training records, and security logs under our control is one month. This period does not set retention periods for copies or operational records held by Cloudflare, Brevo, or Calendly under their own terms.

Your rights

Visitors may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also have GDPR rights. To exercise any request, contact us at support@daybytes.com.

Complaints

If you want to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, you can do so through the official channels and also contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
